This two-day workshop is all about sharing the real-life experience of making a film, from the first spark of an idea to the final cut. It's for anyone who’s got some filmmaking experience under their belt and is ready to dig deeper into the process.
On the first day, I’ll share my personal experience of making my first film, Confessions of a Runner, and my latest project, RUN FOR LIFE. I’ll talk about the challenges I faced, the mistakes I made, and the lessons I learned that helped me create a film that went on to win awards around the world. After my talk, we’ll open up the conversation so everyone can share their own filmmaking stories, projects they’re working on, or any struggles they’re facing. The goal of Day 1 is to give you a clear picture of what it really takes to create a film, from the first idea to post-production.
Day 2 is all about getting hands-on and figuring out how to turn your ideas into action. We’ll dive into practical stuff like:
We’ll walk through each step of the process, and you’ll leave with a better idea of how to take your own project forward.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll have both fresh ideas and practical tools to help you move forward with your filmmaking. I’m looking forward to hearing about your projects and helping you take the next step in your journey!
