Two German freeriders, Nicolas Brixle and Lukas Broll, set off to Lebanon to cross the Lebanese mountain range on skis, together with their friend Halim Khoriaty whom they had met at the Freeride World Qualifier. The journey takes them from Sannine to the country’s highest peak, Qornat el Sawda. During this 10-day trip in the wilderness, they crossed 120km, and went on a quest to find challenging freeride lines while carrying all the gear and food supplies on their backs. On the 17th of October 2019, 6 swimmers Soumaya Merhi, Jad Ghosn, Mary Anne Ballouz, Diane Boulos, May Timani and Martin Mugharbil challenged themselves to cross from CYPRUS to BATROÛN swimming by sea. They carried a message to raise awareness about plastic sea pollution with every stroke. Their film demonstrates the strength and will of a generation striving for a better, cleaner and healthier Lebanon.
